Quartet

Virtuosic soloists, perfect ensemble

As with many famous quartets Salut Salon began with a duet: Angelika Bachmann and Iris Siegfried played together in the school orchestra back when they were kids. They combine whatever can possibly be combined with their beloved classical music: tango, chansons, folk and film soundtrack. As a quartet – Angelika and Iris were joined by Olga Shkrygunova at the grand piano and Anna-Lena Perenthaler on the cello – they are virtuosic soloists yet unbeatable as an ensemble of musicians each of whom perform an essential part to create the perfect interplay of virtuosic classical prowess peppered with cabaret-style show with artistic sketches, effortless flair and disarming self-irony.
